About Me
- RUJUN TUO
- My research focuses on the disaster chain related to debris flow blocking rivers. My research emphasizes key processes and evolution mechanisms, including debris inflow into rivers, dam formation, and eventual collapse.
- To address these scientific questions, I systematically study the dynamic processes of the interaction between debris flows and rivers, employing a combination of physical model experiments, monitoring data analysis, and statistical modeling.
- My main scientific contribution lies in revealing the key controlling factors of debris flow blocking, its development, and instability, and in attempting to establish the connection between process identification, mechanism explanation, and risk assessment.

Topic 1 Title
This study focuses on the disaster chain triggered by debris flow blocking rivers, particularly the mechanisms controlling debris flow dam formation, instability, and potential outburst floods. Through physical experiments and monitoring data analysis, it aims to reveal the dynamic evolution of the blockage formation and outburst processes, and to provide a scientific basis for disaster assessment and mitigation.
